Requirements

This competition is open to students who are enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited college or university.

Applicants must submit a 1,500word essay on how losing a loved one to lung cancer has affected their life and how they plan to spread awareness of lung cancer risks.

They must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Selection is based on how well the author expresses how long cancer has affected their life and how that experience inspires them to contribute to the understanding and education of lung cancer risks.
