The Bridge to Career Program is available to students attending any of the 58 North Carolina Community Colleges. This program is designed to help students obtain state-regulated or industry-recognized credentials that lead to sustainable wage careers within their local communities. Unemployed or underemployed, members of the NC National Guard, military veterans, and spouses, or underserved populations in a specific workforce sector or area are highly encouraged to apply.

  • Resident of North Carolina
  • Attending or planning to attend any of the 58 North Carolina Community Colleges
  • Seeking a professional certification
  • Enrolled or enrolling in a course(s) leading to an NC Workforce Credential
  • Unemployed or underemployed, members of the NC National Guard, military veterans and spouses, or underserved populations in a specific workforce sector or area Directors, employees, or family members of an employee of the State Employees’ Credit Union or SECU Foundation are not eligible to apply.
