The Bruce McMillan, Jr. Foundation Annual Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen from Arp, Carlisle, Henderson, Kilgore, Leverett’s Chapel, Overton, Troup, or West Rusk high schools in Overton, Texas, or home school students who live in one of these school districts and are planning to attend Tyler Junior College. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum SAT composite score of 900, or minimum ACT composite score of 23 (home-schooled incoming freshman), or class rank between the top 5 positions or the top 15% (incoming freshman), minimum 2.50 GPA (continuing student)
