The Butterfly Fund Memorial Scholarship seeks residents of Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Carter, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson, Johnson, Knox, Loudon, McMinn, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, Sullivan, Unicoi, Union, or Washington counties in Tennessee who are pursuing a career in pediatric oncology. The scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors, current college students, and returning adult students.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of the East Tennessee Foundation service area
  • High school senior, undergraduate, graduate student, doctoral candidate, postgraduate medical school, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking an associate, bachelor's, graduate, medical degree, or Ph.D
  • Pursuing studies in pediatric oncology, including, but not limited to: medical treatment, research, nursing of all levels, or social work
  • Full or parttime student
  • Planning for a career in pediatric oncology
