C. Eugene Cato Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Indiana who have participated in athletics and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Indiana that are members of the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) and planning to attend a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must have won a varsity letter in at least 1 of the 22 IHSAAsanctioned athletic programs.
  • They must have no violations of their school's athletic code of conduct and may not have been ejected from an IHSAA contest due to unsportsmanlike behavior.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement (GPA of 3.0 or higher) and participation in athletics.
