Requirements

This program is open to students working on an associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree at a college or university in British Columbia or Washington.

Applicants must be working on a degree in a field related to fisheries or aquatic science.

Graduate students must be members of the WashingtonBritish Columbia Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (AFS), although membership is not required for undergraduates.

The proposed research of graduate students is evaluated in categories of significance, investigator profile, innovation, approach, and application to the environment.

Status as a U.S. citizen, Canadian citizen, U.S. national, or U.S. resident alien expecting citizenship by the date of the award is required.
