The Caitlin Knoll Memorial Scholarship for Social Work supports incoming freshman students at Mansfield University who are from Chemung County or surrounding counties in New York and Pennsylvania. Students studying social work OR early childhood education, or sociology are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who work with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or students who are U.S. Armed Service veterans, active duty personnel, or dependents of a veteran.

Requirements

Minimum 3.50 GPA, minimum SAT composite score of 1000 **OR**

Minimum 3.0 GPA, minimum SAT composite score of 950

Resident of Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga, or Tompkins counties, New York, or Bradford County, Pennsylvania

High school senior

Seeking a bachelor's degree

Studying social work, **OR**

Studying early childhood education or sociology

Planning to attend Mansfield University

Participation in community service or leadership

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who work with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or students who are U.S. Armed Service veterans, active duty personnel, or dependents of a veteran.
