The Cal Grant A is available to students attending any University of California, California State University, California Community College, or any qualifying independent colleges within the state. Students who are planning to pursue a certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree are welcome to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need and are automatically considered through submission of FAFSA/CADAA.
