Requirements
  • This program is open to California residents who are veterans of wartime service or the spouse, widow(er), or child of such a veteran.
  • Applicants must be entering or currently enrolled in an accredited nursing school in California and working on a licensed vocational nurse, registered nurse, or other recognized nursing degree.
  • Letter signed by parent, guardian, or applicant (if not a minor) describing financial circumstances of the family, to set forth need for assistance.
