The Cathie Waters Cardelucci Scholarship is open to collegian and alumna members of the Beta Xi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Students seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree are encouraged to apply. If no Beta Xi chapter member applies, the award is available to collegian and alumnae members of the Eta Sigma chapter at Chapman University. If no member of those chapters applies, the award is available to all Kappa Alpha Theta undergraduate or graduate members.
