The CBC Spouses Performing Arts Scholarship provides financial assistance to African American undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in studying the performing arts. Students who reside in or attend school in a district represented by a member of the Congressional Black Caucus are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • High school senior, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student
  • Seeking an associate, bachelor's, graduate degree, or Ph.D fulltime
  • Studying performing arts, including theater, drama, music, dance, opera, marching bands, other musical ensembles
  • Planning to pursue a career in the performing arts
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • African American or Black
  • Participation in community service or leadership
  • Reside in or attend school in a district represented by a member of the Congressional Black Caucus
