The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Scholarship is provided to high school seniors, undergraduates, or graduate students who are U.S. citizens. Students planning to work at least two 90-day tours in the Washington, DC area before graduation, and willing to work at the CIA full-time after graduation are encouraged to apply. Recipients are chosen for their good academic standing and proficiency in a foreign language.

Requirements
  • Member of the National Society of High School Scholars
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • High school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree
  • Planning to work at least two 90day tours in the Washington, DC area before graduation, and willing to work at the CIA full-time after graduation
  • U.S. citizen
  • Aged 18 or older
  • Proficiency in a foreign language
  • Maximum Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of less than $120,000
