CESDA Diversity Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Colorado who are planning to attend college in the state and are either first-generation college students or members of underrepresented ethnic or racial minorities.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Colorado who are 1) the first member of their family to attend college; 2) a student of color (African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, American Indian, Hispanic/Chicano/Latino); and/or 3) able to demonstrate financial need.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 2.8 or higher and be planning to enroll at a 2 or 4-year college or university in Colorado.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is not required.
  • Selection is based on leadership and community service (particularly within minority communities), past academic performance, personal and professional accomplishments, personal attributes, special abilities, academic goals, and financial need.
