The Chafee Grant for Foster Youth is available to students who are currently in foster care or were in foster care for at least one day between the ages of 16 and 18. Eligible students must be planning to attend a vocational/technical school or a two- or four-year college or university. Recipients are selected based on demonstrated financial need.
