Requirements
  • This program is open to students from any state who are attending school in Santa Barbara or Ventura counties in California.
  • Applicants must currently be enrolled in an accounting program at a 4year college or university, a community college with plans to transfer to a 4-year institution, or an extension program with 20 units completed and working on a certificate of accounting.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in accounting classes and in all college coursework.
  • Selection is based on an essay on their interest in an accounting career, any special recognitions, extracurricular activities, 2 letters of recommendation, and an autobiography that includes any special or unique circumstances (including financial) that they believe qualify them for this scholarship.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
