Chapter 56 Fort Wayne Scholarship provides financial assistance to students interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering in Indiana.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and students currently enrolled at colleges and universities in Indiana who have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Applicants must be working on an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in the following fields: manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering; engineering technology; or industrial technology.

Preference is given in the following order: 1) children and grandchildren of current members of Fort Wayne Chapter 56 of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME); 2) student members of chapters sponsored by SME Chapter 56; 3) applicants who reside within Indiana; and 4) residents of other states planning to attend a college or university in Indiana.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

U.S. citizenship, permanent resident status, or student visa is required.
