Chapter 63 Morrow Scholarship provides financial assistance to students interested in working on an undergraduate degree in manufacturing engineering or a related field, especially descendants of members of Portland Chapter 63 of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors and undergraduate students preparing for a career in manufacturing engineering or a closely-related field.
  • First preference is given to children, grandchildren, and stepchildren of members of the chapter (which serves southwestern Washington and Oregon) or any member of a student chapter in southwestern Washington or Oregon.
  • Second preference is given to all students attending colleges and universities in southwestern Washington or Oregon.
  • Third preference is given to residents of the states of Washington or Oregon and attending college in any state.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
  • U.S. or Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or student visa is required.
