The Charles and Kathryn Deering Scholarship is open to graduating seniors or graduates of a high school in Lake, Marion, or Sumter County, Florida. Students planning to pursue an undergraduate degree in medicine, science, technology, or education are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students from Villages Charter High School.
