Charles E. Leonard Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to blind or visually-impaired Vermonters, their children, or those who intend to prepare for a career of service to blind or visually-impaired people.

Requirements

This program is open to 1) blind or visually-impaired Vermonters; 2) children of blind or visually-impaired Vermonters; and 3) Vermonters interested in preparing for a career in the education or rehabilitation of blind or visually-impaired people.

Applicants must be attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university in any state.

Selection is based on that essay, academic achievement, and financial need.
