The Charlotte Rotary's 9-11 Scholarship is available to graduating high school senior students who are the children of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina first responders. Students seeking an associate or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.

Requirements

Child of a full-time employee of the Charlotte Fire Department, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department, Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, or MEDIC (minimum of 1-year service)

Minimum 2.50 GPA

Resident of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina

High school senior

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree

Plan to attend a 2 or 4-year college or university

Participation in community service

Demonstrate financial need
