The Charlotte Rotary's 9-11 Scholarship is a need-based scholarship that provides financial assistance to students who are the children of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina first responders. Graduating high school seniors are welcome to apply.

Requirements

Child of a full-time employee of the Charlotte fire department, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department, Mecklenburg County sheriff's office, or MEDIC (minimum of 1-year service)

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Graduating high school senior

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree

Participate in community service

Demonstrate financial need
