The Children of Veterans Tuition Grant is available to natural or adopted children of veterans who have died or become totally and permanently disabled as a result of military service. Students between the ages of 16 and 26 who are planning to pursue a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree at a postsecondary institution in Michigan are eligible to apply.

  • Child of a veteran who died or became totally and permanently disabled as a result of military service
  • Resident of Michigan
  • U.S. citizen or a nonU.S. citizen eligible for federal financial aid
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in Michigan
  • Aged 16 to 26
  • Not have been convicted of a felony involving an assault, physical injury, or death
  • Not in default on a Federal student loan
