The Chris Marshall Scholarship was created to assist current and future Tarrant County College students seeking a certificate of completion or associate degree. Eligible applicants will have graduated from, or currently reside in, the Birdville or HEB Independent School Districts. Applicants studying nursing, allied health programs, elementary teaching, accounting, banking, or finance are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA or a passing GED score
  • Must be a legal resident of Tarrant County and have graduated from, or currently reside in the Birdville or HEB Independent School Districts
  • Seeking a certificate of completion or associate degree in nursing, allied health sciences, elementary education, accounting, banking, or finance
  • Attending or planning to attend Tarrant County College
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours, or fulltime as defined by the program, during the award period
