The Christina Leen Foster Memorial Scholarship supports students attending California State University, Chico. Junior and senior nursing students who demonstrate financial need and graduated from a high school in select California counties are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who have participated in 4-H, FFA, or other organizations involving the care of animals.

Requirements

Minimum 2.90 GPA

Resident of the U.S.

Attending California State University Chico

College junior or senior

Graduate of a high school in Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, or Yuba County, California

Seeking a bachelor's degree

Studying nursing

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who demonstrate an interest in animals and who are or have been involved in 4H, Future Farmers of America (FFA), or a similar organization focused on animal care.
