The Christopher Mark Pitkin Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to individuals with hemophilia or a family member with a bleeding disorder. Southern California residents who are attending or planning to attend a trade school, technical school, college, or university are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to first-time applicants who are actively involved with the Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California (HFSC).

  • Diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, OR a family member with a bleeding disorder
  • Resident of Southern California
  • Attending or planning to attend a trade/technical school, 2 or 4-year college, or university
  • High school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree
  • Participation in community service or extracurricular activities Preference is given to firsttime applicants who are actively involved with the Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California (HFSC) as community participants or volunteers and have a bleeding disorder diagnosis.
