The Chuck Benedict Memorial Journalism Scholarship is awarded to students seeking a degree or studies in sports journalism at Glendale Community College. Residents of Burbank, Glendale, La Canada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Montrose, or Verdugo City in California are eligible to apply. This scholarship was created to honor the late Chuck Benedict for his work as a well-known sports broadcaster in Los Angeles.
