The Clifford H. Spicer Memorial Scholarship is available to Michigan residents who are either graduating high school seniors or college students currently pursuing a degree in land surveying or civil engineering. Students who are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited program are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA for high school seniors and college juniors, minimum 2.5 GPA for college freshmen, minimum 2.75 GPA for college sophomores
  • Resident of Michigan
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Studying in land surveying or civil engineering
  • Fulltime student
  • Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or leadership
  • Exhibit strong academic achievement
  • Attending an ABETaccredited program
  • Demonstrate financial need If there are no applicants attending an ABETaccredited program, then a student who is enrolled in a transfer program to an ABET-accredited program may be considered.
