The Cloellen Mauser Cardinal Scholarship honors its namesake, a single parent who earned a GED, and an Associate Degree in Business from Tarrant County College. Eligible applicants will be head of household single parents, with additional consideration given to those receiving services from one or more of the following: Safe Haven of Tarrant County, Women's Center of Tarrant County, and/or Center for Transforming lives.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA or a passing GED score
  • Seeking a certificate of completion, or associate degree with the intent to seek a bachelor's degree
  • Entering or attending Tarrant County College
  • Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the award period
  • Must be a single head of household with dependent children Preference is given to applicants eligible for state or federal financial need, and those receiving services from one or more of the following: Safe Haven of Tarrant County, Women's Center of Tarrant County, and/or Center for Transforming lives, with supporting documentation in the applicant’s essay.
