Requirements
  • This program is open to 1) undergraduate and graduate students at maritime academies or at colleges and universities with maritime-related degree programs; 2) high school students in maritime-related programs; 3) professionals who are continuing their education while working in the maritime industry; and 4) students in their final year of high school or college.
  • All applicants must be preparing for a career in the maritime industry.
  • High school students write about what inspires them about the maritime industry and why they want to study it.
  • College students must present their ideas on how the maritime industry will address change in the next 5 to 10 years and how they would change the industry.
  • Selection is based on the essay, academic achievement, and interest in a career in the industry.
