The College Now Adult Learner Scholarship program supports students residing and attending school in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, or Wayne counties in Ohio. Students who have at least 1-year since high school graduation or during college when they did not attend school are welcome to apply. This scholarship is available year-round and there are multiple deadlines throughout the year. Please visit the website for more details. Special consideration will be given to applicants 25 or older who have completed at least 25 credit hours (sophomore status), and are attending a 4-year institution within 50 miles of Cleveland.

Requirements

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Reside and attend school in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, or Wayne counties in Ohio

Have interrupted their education for at least one (1) calendar year since high school graduation or during college

High school graduate or GED recipient

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree at a nonprofit institution

Aged 19 or older

Demonstrate financial need (Pell grant eligible and EFC under $6,206) Special consideration will be given to applicants 25 or older who have completed at least 25 credit hours (sophomore status), and are attending a 4year institution within 50 miles of Cleveland.
