The Colonel Aaron Burgstein Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to dependents of military personnel who are high school seniors or current college undergraduates. Students planning to pursue post-secondary education are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students whose parent or guardian served for 8 or more years, has had a parent die while serving on or in active-duty status, or has a parent who has been classified as a wounded warrior through the Air Force Wounded Warrior program.

Requirements
  • Dependents of active duty, retired, or prior service members, reservists, or National Guard members
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Attend a 2 to 4-year college or university Preference is given to students whose parent or guardian served for 8 or more years, has had a parent die while serving on or in active-duty status, or has a parent who has been classified as a wounded warrior through the Air Force Wounded Warrior program.
