The Crockett Family Fund for Excellence Scholarship is open to students in the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University. Graduates of Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Florida are encouraged to apply. If no graduate of that high school applies, then residents of Broward, Miami-Dade, or Palm Beach counties are eligible. Special consideration is given to students participating in the Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement (CARE) or students who meet qualification requirements for that Center, first-general college students, and African American students.
