The Cyndy and Al Baran Fine Arts and Music Scholarship is available to sophomores, juniors, seniors in college, and graduate students seeking a degree in fine art or studio art with a focus on painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography, or printmaking. Recipients are chosen for their strong academic standing. A second scholarship will be made to a music degree-granting program (bachelor's or master's) with special consideration given to those students pursuing a course of study in acoustic mandolin or acoustic guitar.
