The Daniel Kahikina and Millie Akaka Scholarship are awarded to full-time students who demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and participation in community service. Recipients are encouraged to provide 10 or more hours of community service to the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement. It is the policy of the Foundation to give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
