The Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors from high schools in Brookings, Lake, Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha, Moody, or Turner counties of South Dakota. Students seeking a bachelor's degree who have demonstrated merit through academic achievement are welcome to apply.

  • Minimum ACT composite score of 28
  • Graduating senior of a high school in Brookings, Lake, Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha, Moody, or Turner counties of South Dakota
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree in South Dakota
  • Participate in community service and extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrate merit through academic achievement and a desire to pursue and meet educational goals Children and immediate family members of the firm's partners and employees are not eligible to apply.
