The David and Sharon Alexander Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the LBGTQIA+ community in Colorado. Students planning to pursue an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in working on a degree in an education-related field are encouraged to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need. Special consideration is given to students working on their first post-secondary degree.

  • Studying in education, higher education, counseling, school psychology, social work, or special education
  • Planning to attend school in Colorado
  • Asexual, bisexual, gay, genderqueer, intersex, lesbian, nonbinary, prefer to selfidentify, transgender, transgender female to male, transgender male to female, or two-spirit
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students working on their first postsecondary degree.
