The Davis Islands Garden Club Scholarship in Memory of Dottie Womble is awarded to graduating high school seniors from Hillsborough County, Florida, who plan to study a natural science field. Special consideration is given to students who have attended one or both camps sponsored by the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs: Camp Wekiva, for younger children, and SEEK (Save the Earth’s Environment through Knowledge), for teens.

  • High school senior at a Hillsborough County Public School in Florida
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Studying a natural science subject such as botany, horticulture, plant biology, conservation, landscape architecture, ecology, marine science, or related fields
  • U.S. citizen Preference is given to students who have attended one or both camps: Camp Wekiva for younger children and/or SEEK (Save the Earth's Environment Through Knowledge) for teens.
