Requirements
  • This competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled at a college, university, or trade school in any state.
  • Applicants must be working on a degree in agriculture, botany, horticulture, landscape architecture, or another field related to plant science.
  • They must submit either a 1page paper or a video on a topic involving a particular plant or other related subjects.
  • In the selection process, judges consider if the information is correct and thorough if the paper or video is understandable to people with little or no knowledge about plants, and whether the presentation is complete.
