Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors who have Type 1 diabetes and plan to attend an accredited 4-year university, college, or trade/technical school in any state.

Applicants must be planning to major in a field of STEM. They must be able to demonstrate active involvement in the diabetes community, academic accomplishment, participation in community and/or extracurricular activities, and successful management of the challenges of living with diabetes.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
