The Disabled American Veterans Salt City Chapter #43 Scholarship is for U.S. Armed Service veterans or the descendants of veterans who are either residents of or graduates of Manistee County in Michigan. Graduating seniors, non-traditional students, and current college students are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to applicants who have a service-connected disability or members of a veterans’ organization (e.g., Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion) or their descendants.
