District 5 Daughters of Penelope Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Maids of Athena and to children of members of Daughters of Penelope in its District 5 (New Jersey and Delaware) who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of New Jersey and Delaware who have been members of the Maids of Athena for at least 2 years, children of mothers who have been a member of the Daughters of Penelope for at least 2 years, or children of deceased mothers who were members of Daughters of Penelope in good standing at the time of their death.

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or undergraduates already attending a college or university in any state.

High school seniors must also submit a transcript showing their class standing, their recent grades, and their SAT or ACT scores.

College students must submit a transcript and GPA. Selection is based on merit.
