The Diversity in Accounting Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of ASCPA who identify as African American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American. College students seeking a degree in accounting at a university in Alabama are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Member of Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA)
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA
  • Current sophomore, junior, or senior college student with at least one year left in school
  • Seeking a bachelor’s degree in accounting at a university in Alabama
  • Parttime or full-time student
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • African American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
  • Planning to pursue a career as a CPA in Alabama
  • Complete accounting courses I and II before the fall semester
