The Donald L. Mader Natural Resources Conservation Award is presented to undergraduate or graduate students in the Department of Environmental Conservation at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.   • Studying in the Department of Environmental Conservation Preference is given to students concentrating on forest studies, with particular emphasis on forest soils. Additional consideration will be given to those who demonstrate financial need or who show academic merit by maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0.
