Donna Gail Shaw Scholarship for Chapter Service provides financial assistance to undergraduate, graduate, or professional members of Kappa Delta Pi (an international honor society in education) who have contributed outstanding service to their chapter.

Requirements
  • This program is open to members of the society who are currently 1) enrolled as undergraduates, graduate students, or doctoral candidates; or 2) practicing K-12 educators in the first 3 years of teaching.
  • Applicants must submit 1) a 750word essay on the role of service in becoming a professional educator; and 2) a description of their service to their chapter, local community, and profession, and how that service made a difference.
  • Each Kappa Delta Pi chapter may submit only 1 candidate.
