Dr. Archie P. McDonald Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate history students at colleges in east Texas.

Requirements

This program is open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time at colleges and universities in east Texas.

Applicants must be working on a degree in history; preference is given to students of Texas history, especially east Texas history.

They must have a GPA of at least 3.0 overall and 3.2 in history.

In the selection process, financial needs may be considered if other criteria are considered equal.
