The Dr. Charman J. Akina Memorial Scholarship program is available to residents of Waimanalo, Oahu in the state of Hawai'i. Recipients demonstrating financial need are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to previous year recipients with further preference given to participants of the Waimanalo Health Center's Ku I Ka Mana Program.

  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to previous year recipients. Further preference is given in the following order: to participants of the Waimanalo Health Center's Ku I Ka Mana Program (within the last 5 years), and participants of the Ku I Ka Mana Program.
