The Dr. Chela Mendoza Patterson Scholarship supports students attending California State University, Chico. First-generation undergraduate students with financial need who demonstrate community service or activism within the Latinx community are welcome to apply, particularly those students pursuing careers in higher education, pursuing post-baccalaureate study, and/or serving Spanish-speaking communities.
