Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Maryland interested in working on an elementary teaching degree at a college or university in the state.
  • Applicants must submit transcripts that include their SAT or ACT score and GPA through the end of their junior year, 2 recommendations, and a written statement about their beliefs and commitment toward educating all students.
  • They must also list their school activities (including honors and awards), community organization involvement, and reasons for financial assistance.
