Dr. Maria J. Tobin 4-H Scholarship provides financial assistance to 4-H members from Missouri, especially those from designated counties, who are interested in majoring in any field at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to Missouri 4-H members who are high school seniors or undergraduate students and attending or planning to attend an accredited college, trade school, technical school, community college, or university in any state with a major in any field.
  • High school seniors must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and current college students must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Home school students must also submit ACT or SAT scores.
  • Preference is given to applicants from Johnson or Lafayette counties; if there are no qualified applicants from those counties, the scholarship may be awarded to applicants from the remainder of the state.
  • Selection is based on 4H achievement in leadership, citizenship, community service, and projects (40%); financial need (50%); and career goals (10%).
