Dr. Merritt C. Olson Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The Dr. Merritt C. Olson Scholarship program recognizes graduating seniors from West High School in Anchorage, Alaska who participate in community service and extracurricular activities. Students who demonstrate a motivation to succeed, leadership qualities, and financial need are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to applicants who are planning to pursue a career as a math, history, or English teacher or a guidance counselor.
