Dr. Oliver M. Lee Scholarship provides financial assistance for college in any state to residents of Hawaii who have an affiliation with or interest in Hakka culture.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Hawaii who are graduating high school seniors or students currently enrolled in a program of postsecondary educational or technical training.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Selection is based on that essay (60%), accomplishments (20%), and community service (20%).

Special consideration is given to applicants of Hakka background and/or those with an interest in the Hakka culture.
